Palo santo is widely used in shamanic rituals, ceremonies and the cleansing of spaces and people. Its name roughly translated means ‘Holy Wood’. Unlike when burning the wood itself, the essential oil of Palo Santo holds all the rising mid range tones of scent without reducing the end tone to deep black.

Patchouli is inextricably linked to the flower children of the 60s, for whom it was the perfume of choice. The musky, earthy, sweetish smell is one of those scents that is either loved or hated.
